Dr. Mark Tripp is originally from Canada in the Toronto area and moved to Charlotte in 1997 after graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The University of Western Ontario in London, Canada. He completed a 2 year General Practice Residency at Carolinas Medical Center from 1997-1999 and then began private practice in Charlotte in 1999. Dr. Tripp is the founder of Landmark Dentistry and practices at our Billingsley Rd location with emphasis on implants and restorative treatments.

Dr. Tripp enjoys spending as much time as possible with his fiancé Chandler, teenage triplet sons Conley, Nolen and Harlan and daughter Reya who joined the family in January of 2023. Personal interests away from the office and family include golf, ice hockey, skiing, travel and cooking.

Community outreach is an important aspect of our profession as we are supported professionally by the members of our community. Dr. Tripp feels it is necessary to return that favor to the community in the form of volunteer work. LandMark Dentistry participates in significant continuing education every year in all aspects of the field of dentistry including the latest trends in insurance management and periodontal standards of care. By maintaining current knowledge of cutting-edge treatments and research, Dr. Tripp can offer his patients the most educated and evidence-based diagnoses, as well as treatment options to help them maintain optimal health.
