About Dr. Armen Balasanyan
Dr. Armen Balasanyan has lived in Charlotte since graduating from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2009. Dr. Balasanyan was born in Armenia and raised in Rostov, Russia.
After he graduated from high school at the age of 16, his family moved to the United States. Dr. Balasanyan taught himself the English language and studied medical biology at the University of Utah prior to entering dental school.
In 2008, Dr. Balasanyan celebrated one of his most prestigious life achievements, when he was sworn in as a U.S. citizen.
Dr. Balasanyan is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society. He is very passionate about incorporating new technology and innovative techniques into our practice.
He is proficient at and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including restorative crown and bridge therapy, dental implants, oral surgery denture therapy, root canal therapy, cosmetic dentistry, and composite/cosmetic fillings.
Dr. Balasanyan and his wife Arfine have two children, Isabelle and Tigran, and are proud to call Charlotte home. They enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time with family.
Since 2011, Dr. Balasanyan has provided dental care as a volunteer for the Charlotte Women’s Shelters. He enjoys the challenges that dentistry provides each day, and the rewards of meeting those challenges with leadership, responsibility, and accountability.
