Dentures

Dentures are a removable oral device used to replace missing teeth and surrounding soft tissue.

Both full and partial dentures help patients maintain a natural look. Dentures give support to the cheeks in gums, offering a more youthful appearance.

The Difference between Full and Partial Dentures

A full denture replaces all of a patient’s natural teeth. At LandMark Dentistry, we recommend full dentures to patients who are missing a large number of teeth. A full denture covers existing teeth, and fills the gaps where teeth and/or soft tissues are missing. Partial dentures are recommended for patients only missing one or a few teeth. These dentures fill in the gaps where teeth are missing, and keep remaining teeth from shifting. Both full and partial dentures improve a patient’s ability to speak, eat and smile confidently.
